We are B&L Dog Hospitality
Becky and Lauren’s journey began in the hospitality industry in 2021, where their professional bond quickly turned into a strong friendship. As they worked together, they discovered a shared passion for animals, which ultimately led them to make a bold career shift in 2024. Inspired by their own dogs, Benjy and Bailey, they founded B&L Dog Hospitality, a business dedicated to providing exceptional care for dogs. Their services, including personalised training, walking, and sitting, are all designed to create a safe, loving environment where every dog is treated like family, giving pet owners peace of mind while ensuring their dogs receive genuine love and attention.
Becky’s love for dogs started at age 11 when she convinced her parents to get a West Highland Terrier named Pip. Over the years, her passion deepened, especially through her time with Benjy, a working Cocker Spaniel. Together, they spent countless hours training and exploring Somerset, which sparked Becky’s realisation that she wanted to work with dogs professionally. Lauren, too, has always had a deep connection to animals. Raised around various pets, including Retrievers, bunnies, and a family cat, her love for animals grew. As a teenager, she worked in a pet shop specialising in animal nutrition, where she gained hands-on experience and further solidified her desire to pursue a career with animals.
Together, Becky and Lauren combine their extensive knowledge and shared passion for animals to run B&L Dog Hospitality. Their complementary skills and experiences make them a dynamic team committed to providing exceptional care for every dog. Known for their unique approach, B&L offers a blend of personalised care, expert training, and enriching activities. From mental and physical stimulation in daycare to flexible walking services and positive reinforcement training, they cater to dogs of all sizes and energy levels. We’re passionate about providing personalised care and training for your furry friends. From puppy and dog training and obedience lessons to dog walking and pet sitting, we tailor our services to meet the unique needs of every pet and owner. What sets us apart? Besides our focus on positive reinforcement, attention to detail and a genuine love for animals, we have completed 3 courses with the IMDT, as well as a first aid course for animals to ensure we are ready for any situation.
